ARCHEOLOGY

Museo de Arte Popular Mexicano. Located in the joint The Embarcadero, at the side of the Theater of Cancun, this museum displays many examples of craftsmanship that was popular in different cultural regions of the country.

Scenic Tower. Located at 4 km from the Hotel Zone is a tower with more than 110 m in height and ability to climb to 72 people to watch a beautiful view of the city and the Caribbean Sea.
Interactive Aquarium. Located in Plaza La Isla, 12.5 km in the Hotel Zone, this aquarium, first of its kind in South America with an area of tanks showcasing the wide variety of fish that live beneath the waters of the Caribbean Sea. Its main attraction is an amazing dive with sharks in a fishbowl.
Wet'n'Wild. Located in the Hotel Zone, km 25, in Punta Nizuc, inside the park namesake. It is a water park for the whole family with which all the slides, wave pool, all services and over 200 m of white sand.
Xcaret. It has a beach area, underground rivers, an aquarium, a dolphin, a butterfly, an orchid and an apiary and an archaeological site and the recreation of a Mayan village. Open all week from 8:30 to 22:00 hrs.
Xel-Ha. It is an ecological park where you can enjoy swimming with dolphins, snorkeling the practice of either the lagoon or in the main underground rivers. Open daily from 8:30 to 18:00 hrs.
Ecological Reserve of Sian Ka'an. It is a perfect place to spend a pleasant moment with family, with the opportunity to observe a wide variety of flora and fauna, land or sea.
Isla Contoy. National Park was declared in 1998 and has an area of 5 126 ha. The boats depart from Isla Mujeres and it has all the amenities required to spend the day on an island almost virginal.
Crococún. Located south of Cancun, 30 km from the Cancun-Tulum highway. Here you can admire more than 300 crocodiles of the most representative species of the region.
NIGHTLIFE
Cancun is the best place to have fun at night. If you're dancing to Latin music recommend Cocobongo, located in Plaza Forum, to hear the best dance beats and the newest pop music and electronics, the options are: The City, The Boom and The Alebrijes. But if you want to hear live music, come to the Dady Rock, Hard Rock or the Bulldog Café. Not far away, on Blvd Kukulkan, will hear the chords in the Caribbean and Latin festival that is lived in Mango Tango, a site with more than ten years old.

Playa Ballenas. Located at Km 14, Zona Hotelera, north of Punta Nizuc washed by the turquoise waters of the Mexican Caribbean, this beach is perfect for sunbathing and practice some water sports. It has one of the best views of Cancun.
Playa Delfines. Located at Km 18 in the Hotel Zone, north of Punta Nizuc is one of the best options for sunbathing, this beach has a viewpoint from which to take great pictures with incredible color and scene turquoise Caribbean Sea.
Isla Mujeres. It can do all kinds of water sports, or rent a WAVERUNNER onto the banana.
Playa Gaviota Azul. At Km 18, behind the Plaza Forum, in the Hotel Zone, south of Punta Cancun, this beach is a good choice for swimming and other water sports because of its medium to strong waves.
