Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, one of the most beautiful beach destinations in Mexico, is located on the Pacific coast in the state of Guerrero, 245 Km. northwest of Acapulco, for the federal highway No.. 200; its climate is warm with an average temperature of 28 ° C.

FESTIVALS AND TRADITIONS

MUSEUMS

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

In the outskirts of Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo can practice various activities such as walking or riding on its beaches and ecological reserves. 

Troncones jungle. It is located 25 min. north of Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo. Here you can make a hike of up to the Cave of the Majahua, where you can observe interesting geologic formations. On leaving the cave you'll find a launching pad for the Tyrolean practice. 

Playa Linda. It is located 7 km west of Ixtapa, No. down the road. 200. Here you can make a horse riding while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the river to the mouth of Ixtapa 

DIVING 
Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo has over 30 places to practice diving: reefs, low, submarine canyons and coral, among which are the so-called "rubble" and two sunken ships that serve as artificial reefs, there live a large number of marine species such as Dolphins, Manta, octopus, moray eels and fish frog.
