Morelia, capital of the state of Michoacan, is a beautiful city built during the viceregal era. It is located in the northern part of the state, 303 Km. of Mexico City. It has a temperate humid with rain in summer and an average annual temperature of 20 ° C.

ARCHEOLOGY

MUSEUMS

Museo de Arte Colonial. Is hosted on the farm where the first printing press was installed in Morelia. Two collections: a painting easel from the colonial era and another made up of over 100 Christ from the sixteenth to nineteenth centuries. Museum of Handicrafts. It displays collections of all branches of handicraft Michoacan. From Monday to Sunday from 9 to 14 and from 18 to 20 hours. Located in Fray Juan de San Miguel 129 Esq. Humboldt. 
  
State Museum of Michoacan. It consists of three sections: archeology, history and ethnology. Opens its doors Monday to Friday from 9 to 14 and from 16 to 20 hours. Guillermo Prieto is located at 176. 
  
Regional Museum Michoacano. It covers a section devoted to the ecology of the state, and five others that offer a panorama of pre-Hispanic times up to the stage Cardenas. Open from 9 to 19 hours, Tuesday through Sunday. Av. Allende 305. 

Camping
