ARCHEOLOGY 

In the outskirts of the city of Veracruz are two archeological sites where you can explore the remains of the Totonac culture. 

Cempoala. It is located 42 km northwest of the port of Veracruz. It is an ancient ceremonial center built with stones from the river whose name means "twenty", perhaps referring to the number of towns that made up this manor which was the largest in the world during the period Totonaco Post. ARTS AND CRAFTS
